During the global pandemic, the need for developments in the online environment became apparent. Governments across Europe encourage their citizens to use contactless payments in the face of COVID-19. Considering these challenges, it becomes real that consumers will soon come to expect digital payment as the norm. In our new reality the business success largely depends on contactless payments.
To meet these challenges and to keep staying competitive, The National Postal Operator of Armenia “HayPost” CJSC has developed its own online payment system and mobile wallet- Haypost Pay. In many points this new product has a vital contribution to the success and the future development of our company. We consider enabling mobile wallet payments as a smart move for the business in terms of gaining efficiency and cost savings.
Haypost introduces its digital payment system- Haypost Pay used to settle online financial transactions. The new payment system is accessible through both the post offices and the mobile application – Haypost Pay Wallet. The wallet is currently an open beta version as our team hopes to get the best out of the innovative product through the help of advanced customers’ experience. Haypost Pay is available for Android and iOS devices. The following services are delivered to customers in the first beta version of the wallet:
- Wallet account top-up via bank cards and post offices
- Utility payments
- Mobile phone payments
- Internet and TV payments
- Transfers between Haypost Pay account holders
- Cash withdrawal at post offices
- Possibility to track the parcel by the delivery number
There is also a group payment functionality in the Wallet. Users are offered to create groups and pay for several services in one click. The history of all transactions, including the payment receipts, are stored in the wallet and are available at any time. Receipts can also be shared or printed if needed. Haypost Pay wallet is available in 3 languages: Armenian, English and Russian.
